chicken wings

My husband likes to eat wings. And he can eat a lot of wings. He got very excited when a co-worker of mine brought home made barbque wings to our staff Christmas party. This is my own take on Ellen's recipe.


Pre-heat the over to 300. Place the wings, (or in our case, drummettes) in a baking dish. Mix up the sauce. mine included:

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup tamari (gf soy sauce)
2 tablespoons GF bar b que sauce
2 Tablespoons honey
some cracked red pepper



Pour the sauce over the chicken and place in the oven for 3hrs.

After 3 hrs, the chicken will get all crispy and caramelized - take them out and enjoy! We enjoyed our with a green salad with pecans and GF dressing.
